Patriotism

No one ever thinks of what patriotism is; and how our lives would be with out our great war heroes. These heroes are the reasons we have the freedom we have today. People don't realize what happens in other countries if you say something like "I don't like how our country is run by the government." These words could just maybe put you in jail, if someone on the inside heard of that. See we are lucky we have freedom of speech we can say anything we want about the government because that is you opinion. People in other countries have to watch out every second of the day on what they say. People should be proud what a country we have, we have rights, we have our own saying in how we run the government, who we choose to run our government. Some Countries like Cuba have a ruler and the kings thrown is passed down to the next generation and the next those people will always be in charge, no one gets to choose who they want to be president or there ruler. This government is one of the best in the world, just like what president Lincoln said " The government should be run, by the people, and for the people" and that's just what it is like today. We get to choose who we want to be our governor, our senate, our president, this government is even lets us choose who the chief of police is! The government is one of the best in my opinion, if you disagree that is fine because that's Freedom OF Speech!
